Stopped in before playing some games at Pins/16 Bit and overall enjoyed the experience. It's a very casual vibe and the space was squeaky clean. The employees weren't super friendly but I got the impression that they were new so no biggie. My son got the kids meal (you can choose two toppings, but he's a purist and got none), which comes with a side of tots that were yummy. I got the dumpster dog. I liked that it comes with a jojo atop it. I did not like the sweetness of the coney sauce. Sadly the other toppings were pretty bland. It definitely required a fork, but I was expecting that. I would totally grab a bite there again if looking for something fast in between pinball games!
We really like coming here for a quick and yummy bite! Our favorite hot dog is the dumpster dog. It has a little but if everything and is delicious! They load that hotdog up too, so the potions are very generous. We absolutely loveeee their fries! They are probably our favorite. So crispy and amazing seasoning. The nice thing is they have a variety of different menu options and even allow you ti build your own hotdog. Makes it easier for anyone to find something they like. The service is always friendly and quick as well. We will be back soon!
Came here during a late night to enjoy some food and was definitely not disappointed. I ordered the frito cheese dog and it was so delicious! Surprisingly, the max and cheese was just as good!! Plenty of seating inside which is a major plus. Will say it is a bit pricey though.
Conveniently located between Pins and 16-Bit at Bridge Park, Weenie Wonder serves up all things dog. They have specialty dogs to choose from, or you can build your own. I tried the 'Dumpster' which is basically a coney dog with mac and cheese topped with their special wonder sauce. The hot dog was delicious and I had to prevent myself from ordering a second one, but definitely thought about it. I would love to try more in the future. The prices were very reasonable -- $6 for specialty dogs, $4 for sides. If I find myself back in the Bridge Park area needing a snack, I will definitely be back.
My family went here for lunch on Saturday while when we were finished visiting the Bridge Park Harvest Market all along Longshore Avenue. Nestled between Pins and 16-Bit, this little eatery offers hot dogs and bar bites. The selection of dogs is not as grandeur as a place like Dirty Franks. They have about 9 options on the menu. Despite not a huge selection, the ones I got were very tasty. The Dumpster Dog and the Frito Pie. The Dumpster literally came with everything on it (including one of their signature fries called a Jojo) and the Frito Pie had crushed Fritos and fresh jalapeños. Both had their silky and yum yum Coney Sauce. My nephew got their Plain Jane hot dog (as you'd expect) and tater tots included in the kids meal. We were able to dine with beers that we'd brought over from playing pinball at Pins. Great dogs and worth a try for a light meal if you find yourself hangry playing games at Pins and 16-Bit!
